People in Staverton took a step back in time to help raise funds for the school.
Families got dressed up for a vintage tea in the village last week, with proceeds going to the Friends of Staverton School.
Guests descended on a field in glorious sunshine and enjoyed teas, coffees and a variety of mouth-watering cakes.
Mechelle Williamson, FOSS secretary, said: “We had a variety of homemade decorated cakes including Victoria sponges, cream scones, ginger cake and chocolate cakes.
“It was a beautiful sunny day, and we had lots of visitors who also had the usual sandwiches you’d expect from a vintage tea or high tea.”
The day raised £420, which will help fund the update of the school’s outdoor areas.
“The children are currently discussing what games they want marking out on the playground,” added Mechelle.
