SCOUTS from across the district marked their 100 year celebrations with a parade through the town centre.
More than 300 youngsters aged between six and 18 took part in the event on Saturday, which was led by the Northampton Scout Band.
The parade marked the conclusion of the centenary celebrations in Daventry and was followed by activities and games on the New Street Recreation Ground.
John Rogers assistant district commissioner for the scouts said: “There was a lovely atmosphere of people enjoying themselves and taking part in the activities. Scouting in the Daventry district is well supported with over 900 youth members and 200 adult members across the area.”
