Villagers who want a say in how Weedon Bec looks in 2030 are being encouraged to go along to a meeting on Saturday.
The Public Consultation Day has been organised by the Weedon Bec Parish Council Neighbourhood Planning Group at the village hall.
The meeting will present the results of a survey that was handed out to all villagers in June this year.
There will be a special appearance from children’s TV favourites Peppa Pig and Bob the Builder to encourage families to attend, along with a chalk board and a wishing tree for anyone, young or old, to say what they would like to see in Weedon in the future.
Ann Ranshaw from the group said: “Members of the Neighbourhood Planning Steering Group will be present during the day and we hope visitors will take time to ask questions give us their thoughts on the display and on the issues raised. We’re aiming to make this a community event and one in which all the family can take an interest.
“Every visitor who comes to the event will be able to claim a free cup of tea/coffee and biscuit so we hope people will enjoy their time with us, perhaps have a sit down and think and talk about how they would like to see Weedon flourish between now and 2030.”
The event runs from 11am to 4pm.

For anyone who can not make the consultation day, the steering group meets at the upstairs function room of the Plume of Feathers in Weedon on the second Tuesday of every month.
