A FIRM that was refused permission to open a controversial indoor top next to a Daventry housing estate is considering appealing the decision.
In December Daventry District Council (DDC) turned down an application from SITA UK to turn a unit on Sopwith Way into a waste transfer centre where rubbish from homes and businesses could be unloaded, sorted and crushed.
SITA is currently operating at a site on the High March industrial estate. Although an appeal is unlikely, the company admits it is definitely a possibility.
