A SKYDIVE will take place next month to help raise funds for a charity gym.

Eleven people have signed up for the jump, which will raise funds for Reach for Health in Daventry.

The gym helps people who need rehabilitation after medical problems.

Dietician Tess Borcsok, 32, came up with the idea. She said: “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I’m a bit scared of heights but I’m just going to go for it.”

Gym manager Wadge Grzelak added: “We’ve got 11 people taking part so far and more are welcome to join in.

“We are hoping to raise £3,000 which will go towards refurbishing our showers and getting a disabled toilet installed.”

The skydive will take place on Saturday, July 14 in Sibson, near Peterborough.
