Locals were able to have a drink and raise money for a good cause following a weekend of celebrations at a village pub.
The Cross Tree in Byfield held the event on both Saturday and Sunday in a bid to raise funds for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA).
It was held to mark the organisatiion’s 10th birthday. Among the attractions were a colouring competition for the under 10s, a mini beer festival which ran all weekend, a raffle, live music, pig roast and a photographic competition.
Brigid Hurn, from the pub, said: “The sun shone, the bands played, the food was mouth-watering and everyone had a great time. “The end result was a whopping £535.50 raised, a very good result for a village pub.
“Thanks must go to local businesses and residents who donated so generously, and to customers who all went home with big smiles and empty pockets.”
