The Daventry Express is not the only people fundraising for the Jago Worrall Foundation.
The First Welton Rainbows have also decided to host a fundraiser for the two-year-old based in the village.
They will be hosting a sponsored walk around Daventry Country Park on Thursday July 11.
The leader of the group Rachael Hibberd said about the planned fundraiser: “We felt this would be a challenge for the rainbows and it also gave them scope to add their own twist to the event.
“The rainbows themselves have decided to also have a dress code.
“The dress code is silly wigs, hats, hairbands, face paints, tutus and other crazy dress up.”
The group will be joined by other rainbows, brownies, guides and senior section members from across Daventry.
Rachael has also said that families are welcome to join them for the walk which starts at 5pm.
