Whether they have been in the town for many years or have only recently launched, business owners in Daventry say they love the town and its customers.
Alpine Carpet Warehouse in Vicar Lane has been in Daventry since 2002.
Run by husband and wife Tim and Louise Lownes, the firm is a flooring specialist able to do everything from a smallest jobs to the largest projects courtesy of a huge stock of carpet, vinyl and rugs.
Mrs Lownes said: “We love being in Daventry – it’s such a successful town and it is great to be associated with success, I couldn’t think of better town to have our business.
“We are very proud of our reputation and our attention to customer care. We are one of the largest stockists in the county and offer a huge range of flooring products. Our knowledge of the flooring industry it second to none.
“We like to offer our customers the best advise, the best service and the best value.”
Another business which loves Daventry is the Evergreen Art Cafe in Sheaf Stree,t which has been up and running for the past three-and-a-half years.
The cafe’s owner, Simon Williams, said: “We pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service and a truly unique experience in Daventry.
“We are an independent art gallery featuring a high quality cafe. We feature the very best UK art from 40 artists, along with a bespoke picture framing service.
“Based in a unique Grade II listed building over three floors with seating for 30, we pride ourselves in our coffee and food.
“We have an extensive menu which is also available to take away and we offer free food deliveries to local businesses.”
With artwork starting at £20 and many limited and original editions, there is something for everyone at the cafe,
Mr Williams added: “We offer a home consultation service with all of our art, meaning you can try on your own wall before committing to purchasing. Our 0% finance service also makes purchasing a piece of art extremely affordable.
“We love being in Daventry. Our business is coming up to its fourth birthday and our customers have supported us fantastically. Our location in the heart of England also makes it easy for us to service customers who range from Aberdeen to Truro.”
One of the more recent stores to open is Kuni’s Coffee and Comics in Bowen Square.
The cafe’s owner, Bryan Cooney, said: “We pride ourselves on offering great drinks with great service. If you do not go away happy we have not done our job properly.
“We opened in Daventry because we felt it was the perfect place to try our new style of combined Coffee and Comic store. It has the perfect mix of people that we know will love our shop from their first visit.
