A two-minute silence was held by Northamptonshire Police at 10.30am today (Thursday).

It was held at force headquarters and is in memory of those killed in Paris. 12 people died following an attack on French magazine Charlie Hebdo.

A policewoman has also died after been shot near Paris but there has been no connection between the two incidents.
