Police re-appeal after burglary in Daventry

Police in Daventry are re-appealing for information following a burglary in The Medway last month.

Officers investigating the burglary, which happened on Saturday, 2 August, are re-releasing images captured by the householder’s CCTV in the hope that it may jog people’s memory or someone may recognise the man in the in the pictures.

The burglary happened during the day, sometime between 1.30pm and 2.30pm, and various items were stolen, including cash and jewellery.

PC Andrew Scott said: “These images have been in the public domain previously and we have had a number of calls about them but, unfortunately, we have not yet been able to identify the man who was inside the property.

“Even the smallest piece of information could be the missing link in our inquiry and we would urge anyone who thinks they recognise the man pictured, or who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area on or around Saturday 2 August, to get in touch.”

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are urged are asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
