The police were out in Daventry on Saturday tackling bad driving behaviours.

Officers and PCSOs were in the town centre as part of Operation Courage, monitoring traffic for anyone speeding, not wearing a seat belt or using a phone while driving – which along with drinking are the reasons for many serious and fatal crashes on the roads.

Cars were pulled over to a specially set up layby in Lodge Road.
