A LITTLE boy from Daventry received a dream birthday present thanks to a town charity.
Alfie Goodman was born prematurely and suffers with cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy and lung disease.
For his eighth birthday he received an iPad from Pete Spencer’s Helping Hands Memorial Fund.
Alfie’s mum Sarah-Jayne Goodman said: “His eyes lit up the moment he got it and he hasn’t put it down ever since.
“He’s learning a lot from the iPad and his hand-eye co-ordination is really improving.
“I’ve downloaded lots of different apps which can help with autism and they are fantastic.
“I really can’t thank Helping Hands enough for all their help.”
