Paws for thought at Christmas at Daventry store

A PET store in Daventry is launching a campaign to help abandoned animals this Christmas.

Pets at Home, on the Abbey Retail Park, will run its Santa Paws campaign from December 1 to December 24. It will involve encouraging customers to buy an extra gift or make a donation to benefit needy pets at local animal rescue centres.

Store manager Paul Wright said: “Pet owners love to treat their own pets at Christmas, but it’s important to rememberthat not all pets will be so fortunate, and that’s why we are asking customers to support our campaign.”
