A PARISH council has retained its Quality Mark status.
The award looks at how the council works with is community on local issues.
Parish clerk Catherine Camp said: “This is a real feather in our cap, as all 11 parish councillors who sit on Barby and Onley Parish Council work very hard to help improve the community that they live in.
“It’s nice that an independent panel has recognised this team work, and as clerk I particularly value the support and hard work of the councillors.
“As a council we are entitled to use the Quality Logo and in the current climate, where the Localism Act is aiming to allow local councils to manage their affairs at local level it is important that everyone can have confidence that the council will undertake this wisely.”
