A PRIMARY school has been celebrating it’s healthy school status with a week of activities.
Falconer’s Hill Junior School played host to a number of visitors and arranged a series of workshops.
Learning mentor Debbie Barton said: “We already have healthy school status and so we wanted to organise a healthy school week.
“It went really well and there was a really good felling around the school.
“We’ve been doing all sorts of things to do with healthy eating and emotional health and well being.
“We’ve had workshops on getting along and falling out with each other and graffiti sessions.
“Also a catering company has been in to talk about healthy eating and magistrates have been in and set up a mock court.
“The school nurse has also been giving advice and we have had police officers giving presentations.
“The children have really enjoyed it and parents also came in for a Jubilee lunch.”
