A WEEDON man and his son will be getting on their bikes as they go from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

Barry Croxford and his son Paul, who was born and bought in East Haddon but now lives in Cannock, will be travelling the 1,899 miles on motorbikes from Saturday, June 23 and aim to complete it on Sunday July 7.

The trek aim to raise funds for the Air Ambulance.

Barry said: “We have been wanting to do this for a long time and so we said if we do it, then we need to go for it.

“And at the same time, we thought, why not do it for charity and it’s a good cause.”

They will be setting off from The Plume of Feathers in Weedon on the first day.
