Kislingbury has been a hit by a number of break ins earlier this week.
Eight houses were broken into, alongside a number of attempted burglaries while break ins to sheds and garages have also been reported to police. This happened overnight between Tuesday November 26 and Wednesday November 27.
In some cases, the burglars were able to walk through an insecure doors but mostly an instrument was used to try and prise open door and window frames.
Sergeant Mark Osborne of Towcester police said: “We have officers in the village speaking to residents and providing reassurance and crime prevention advice.
“We think the breaks occurred between 1.30am and 5.30am and we would like anyone who was out and about in the village during those early hours to get in touch.
“It is possible that there were shift workers, dog walkers and delivery drivers out and about who may have valuable information for our investigation.”
Jewellery and cash were stolen from a number of houses that were broken into.
