Men in Daventry are invited to grow a moustache for one month to raise awareness of prostate and testicular cancer.
Throughout November, Everyone Active, which operates Daventry Leisure Centre, is supporting the ‘Movember’ challenge and asking men to talk about their health.
Men can register to get involved in the campaign at me.everyoneactive.com and make a donation to the Movember campaign by purchasing the 99p Mo Workout. Participants can then upload their growing moustache pictures to The Everyone Active twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages using the hashtags #everyoneactive #movember.
Over the next three weeks there will be advice on issues around mental health and cancer awareness.
There will be a competition to see who can grow the best moustache during Movember, with prizes including an iPad Mini, Nestle Dolce Gusto machine, goggles, watches and Everyone Active memberships.
Kimberley Cutler, from Everyone Active Online, said: “We wanted to offer our Mo Bros something more than just a forum to share their growing successes.
“Everyone Active Online is offering them a wealth of tips and advice on keeping fit and healthy.”
