A public meeting to discuss bringing back the cardiac rehabilitation service to Daventry will take place on Thursday, October 17.
The cardiac unit was previously housed at Danetre Hospital but disbanded in March 2013. Currently the service is being offered at Kettering or Northampton general hospitals.
A public meeting in July revealed a lot of support for bringing back the service and gained the backing of Daventry MP, Chris Heaton-Harris.
The next meeting will take place at Daventry Town Football Club in Browns Road at 6.30pm. The meeting will be led by Viv Crouch, who used to run the cardiac rehab unit, and asks those who have petitions signed to bring them along. For more information, contact Viv on 01327 341193.
