The Mayor of Daventry will hold an evening of music and entertainment in support of her chosen charity later this month.

Councillor Glenda Simmonds has invited the JuditSingers, a Daventry based choir, to perform at the Holy Cross Church on Saturday March 25, where a charity auction will also take place.

Prizes to be won include dinner for two at the Flore Holiday Inn, dinner for two at the White Horse in Welton, a bottle of champagne, a Nitro Racing motorbike helmet, a signed Northampton Town FC boot, and a family ticket to a Cobblers game.

The event, hosted by BBC Radio Northampton’s Martin Heath, will start at 7pm and tickets are priced at £5 and are available from Daventry Town Council on New Street.

The mayor is raising funds for Macmillan Daventry.
