Man suffers serious injuries in traffic collision on A428

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision on the A428 near to West Haddon this week.

At around 4.30pm on Monday March 6, a Nissan Navara collided with a 57-year-old pedestrian who was in the carriageway.

The man was taken to University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries including a punctured lung, broken ribs as well as facial and head injuries.

He is in a stable condition.
