Workshops are geared to teenage cooks

A series of cooking workshops designed especially for teenagers will take place throughout next week in Farthingstone.

Bay Tree Cottage Workshops in the village will start the with a cakes and baking session on Tuesday. This will be followed by pasta making in a bid to create an Italian masterpiece on Wednesday. There will also be some sublime sauces to go with the homemade pasta.

For those who want something a bit hotter, an Indian cookery workshop comes to Farthingstone on Friday, February 15.

Here there will be a chance to prepare a veritable banquet of Indian cuisine.

All of the workshops take place between 10am and 2pm.

The cost is £45 and places on the workshops are limited to eight to ensure people get plenty of hands-on experience.
