Weather warning for Daventry area

THE Met Office has warned people to be aware of heavy rain due in the coming days.

On Monday weather warnings covering the Daventry area were given for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

All relate to heavy rain and the occasional thunder storm.

The Met Office says the level of rain expected could cause problems for motorists and may lead to localised flooding.
