UPDATE: Suspected arson in Brixworth

An investigation into a fire at the Red Lion Inn, Brixworth, yesterday, has concluded that the fire started accidentally.

A 33-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of arson has been released on bail pending further enquiries. Those enquiries relate to other, minor offences.

Police were called to the scene in Harborough Road, at 6.30am yesterday (October 25).
