Two charged after man injured in Daventry town centre

TWO men have been charged by police after a man was wounded in Daventry town centre.

At around 10.30pm on Tuesday (May 29) police were called to the underpass at the bottom of Brook Street.

They discovered a man who had a cut to his face.

Police say a 39-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, both from Daventry, were subsequently arrested and charged with wounding and possession of an offensive weapon.
