Triathlon comes to Daventry

ON Sunday Daventry will host an event which marks a sporting first for the town.

The triathlon race is organised by the Rugby Triathlon Club. The event starts in the swimming pool at Daventry Leisure Centre followed by a cycle route out of Daventry and back via Braunston and finishing with a run around Daventry Country Park.

The top half of Lodge Road and all of Welton Road will be closed from 12am until 2pm on Sunday.
