Town firm wins export award

A DAVENTRY firm has been named the runner-up in a national award.

Hi-Force, a hydraulic tools manufacturer on the Royal Oak Industrial Estate , finished second in the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards’ Outstanding Export category.

Kevin Brown, Hi-Force Group Managing Director, said: “Everyone at Hi-Force is delighted to receive this Outstanding Export Award runners up certificate and we hope that we can go one better next year and grab first place.

“Export is the key to helping the UK to grow and, with over 87% of our production being exported outside of the UK, Hi-Force is clearly playing a major part in bringing much-needed revenue into UK PLC.”
