Teenager robbed at knife-point in Daventry

A TEENAGE boy was robbed a knife-point in Daventry on Monday evening.

Between 9pm and 9.20pm, the boy was walking along Highfield Road, on the Headlands estate, with two friends when he was stopped by a man who threatened him with a knife and stole money from him.

The offender is described as a black man, aged about 20, 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build with crooked teeth. He was wearing a black beanie hat.

Two vehicles may be linked to this offender – a black Seat Ibiza and a burgundy Peugeot 306.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 – alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
