A GROUP of Swedish students paid an exchange visit to a Daventry school.

Students and teachers from the Ribbaskolan school in Granna, Smaland, Sweden visited the Danetre and Southbrook Learning Village.

The Swedish students stayed in the homes of families and students from the school, experiencing family and school life in Daventry.

The exchange students took an active part in the school’s open evening, also spending time in school taking part in lessons.

Exchange organiser and teacher, Jim Davis, said: “This is the sixth exchange visit the Swedish group have made to Danetre School and the friendship between our schools continues to grow.

“The students benefit from the exchange visits in many different ways.”

Visits were made to various sights and locations in Birmingham, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Northampton and London.
