There were plenty of schools across the Daventry district competing in an annual cross-country event on Wednesday last week.
The event, which was hosted by Woodford Halse Primary School, saw a wide number of youngsters took part.
It marked the 23nd cross-country race with hundreds of runners between seven and 11 taking part.
The winners of all the races are divided into eight different categories depending upon the size of the school, age and gender.
There was success for Badby Primary School whose pupils finished first in the Year 5/6 Girls small school race.
They were the only school from the local area which finished first in the eight different races. Bugbrooke Primary School had two second place finishes and two third places.
There were podium positions across the races for the schools in East Haddon, Pattishall, West Haddon, Woodford Halse, Welton and the Abbey Academy in Daventry.
