Store holds Bobble Day

Daventry’s Age UK shop, in Bowen Square, was preparing to mark this year’s Bobble Day.

The day sees people wearing something woolly to raise awareness of the charity’s Spread the Warmth campaign to keep older people warm in their homes.

Age UK Daventry is encouraging everyone in the area to join in and help warm Britain by raising money for those older people who struggle against the cold at this time of year.

The Daventry store will have a buy one get one half price offer on donated items tomorrow.

The shop is also looking for volunteers, who can work towards an NVQ.
