Still time to renew bus passes

The clock is ticking for thousands of concessionary bus passes which are due to expire on March 31.

Following the introduction of the over 60s national concessionary bus pass scheme in 2008, around 50,000 passes are due to expire at the end of March. Northamptonshire County Council is therefore reminding people not to leave it too late to renew as they will be unable to use their existing pass after this date. Passengers can visit their local library to renew their bus pass, but are urged to do so early as the volume of passes expiring on the same day may cause delays.
