Step back in time for vintage tea
Families got dressed up for a vintage tea in the village last week, with proceeds going to the Friends of Staverton School.
Guests descended on a field in glorious sunshine and enjoyed teas, coffees and a variety of mouth-watering cakes.

“It was a beautiful sunny day, and we had lots of visitors who also had the usual sandwiches you’d expect from a vintage tea or high tea.”
The day raised £420, which will help fund the update of the school’s outdoor areas.
“The children are currently discussing what games they want marking out on the playground,” added Mechelle.
