A Daventry salon owner can see her handiwork on live TV thanks to her connection with Britian’s Got Talent.
Sharon Baker, who runs Belle Femme in the town, has been doing the nails of BGT judge Amanda Holden since January and has been behind the scenes of the talent show.
She said: “I do freelance work and through that I started doing Amanda’s nails.
“I do them every couple of weeks, going down to her house or hotel, and with Britain’s Got Talent it has meant going down to the studios at Wembley in London to do them for all the live shows and I’ll be doing them for the live final on Saturday too.
“I’ve done Christine Bleakley’s nails, the cast of Hollyoaks, Little Mix and the wife and mum of boxer Carl Froch before his fight last Saturday. I have been down on the Britain’s Got Talent set and was very surprised about how relaxed it is.
“In the time before the show, it is quite chilled out and relaxed. It gets a little more tense just before the show starts to go live.
“I’ve had some nice tweets from Amanda about my nails, which is pleasing.”
