Semi-finalist in national board games championship from Daventry

After a week of preliminary heats, which saw over 40 UK micropubs participate, the semi-finalists were announced including Ken Hawkley, who took part in the championships at his local micropub Early Doors, in Daventry.

The top-scoring micropubs going on to the semi-finals will be held at in Orpington, Kent on April 30 to decide who goes on to the grand final later that day.

Pork pie manufacturer Pork Farms joined forces with the Micropub Association to run the competition
