Youngsters at a Daventry secondary school have organised a coffee morning designed to bring two different sides of the community together.
Year 11 pupils studying citizenship at the Danetre and Southbrook Learning Village hosted the coffee morning in a bid to unite the younger and older generations.
The event offered students the chance to serve tea and coffee and freshly made cakes to the senior citizens.
It will also help the students, aged between 15 and 16, work towards their citizenship course.
