The Queen’s Tea Party was organised by the Friends of Newnham School to mark the Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday.

All the children were dressed as kings or queens and joined together in the decorated school hall.

They made crowns and then enjoyed a traditional tea in the form of water, squash, cakes and biscuits.

The Friends of Newnham School are a group of parents with children at Newnham School who raise money for the school and its pupils to provide them with added extras such as the party which was staged at the school last week.

See this week’s Daventry Express for more pictures from the event.
