A main road through Daventry’s Headlands estate will be closed in sections between Monday, January 13, and Friday, January 17.
Wordsworth Road has been scheduled for patching work to repair its surface along its entire length.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire County Council said: “Next week patching work will start in Wordsworth Road, Daventry, to bring improvements to the road surface.
“The work will take place between Tennyson Road and Hemans Road and will take place in two phases. Road closures will take place between 8am and 3.30pm.
“On Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th, Wordsworth Road will be closed between Tennyson Road and Taper Way.
“While from Wednesday 15th to Friday 17th the closure will be between Taper Way and Hemans Road.”
Due to the closure of the lower part of Wordsworth Road on Monday and Tuesday, buses on route 10 will be unable to serve Wordsworth Road and Tennyson Road, between 8a.m. and 3.30pm. The Timken estate will still be served.
