Road closures for Silverstone Grand Prix weekend

MOTORISTS are being reminded to expect heavy traffic and diversions around Silverstone over the weekend.

The A43 will be closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (July 6, 7, and 8) to accommodate vehicles heading to and from the circuit.

For vehicles not headng to the race, the main diversion routes will be as follows:

SOUTHBOUND

M1 Junction 15A to Junction 15, A508 to Milton Keynes, A422 to Buckingham, A421 to A43 (regional diversion route)

This route is mainly single carriageway.

NORTHBOUND

A43 onto A421 to Buckingham, A422 to Milton Keynes, A508 to M1 Junction 15, M1 Junction 15 to 15A at Northampton

This route is mainly single carriageway.
