STUDENTS aiming to bring Fair Trade products into their school have held a bake sale to raise awareness.

Four pupils, Minnie Larkin, Amber Clarke, Rihanna Antony and Alexandra Billingsley, from the Danetre and Southbrook Learning Village (DSLV), held the sale on Friday as part of a drive to get students to join their campaign.

Citizenship teacher, Tara Doherty, said: “I think it is fantastic. We do citizenship projects every year but we don’t tell them what to do, they come up with their own ideas and do it all off their own backs.”
