PUPILS at Falconer’s Hill Junior School have made their mark on a new trail at Daventry Country Park.
Twelve children helped choose the content of six boards for the trail which were installed last Thursday.
Learning mentor at the school, Debbie Barton, said: “It’s a legacy for the children of Falconer’s Hill, their name will be on the boards for years to come.
The boards were funded and designed by local company Cummins from its community grant fund, while Daventry District Council wrote the content with help from the school children and the Friends of Daventry Country Park.
Cllr Alan Hills, DDC portfolio holder for community, culture and leisure, said: “The new nature trail will be a fantastic addition to Daventry Country Park.
Amandeep Takhar, business analyst at Cummins, added: “It will provide a fun, interactive experience that will enhance people’s appreciation of the park.”
