Princess Anne to open new warehouse
Princess Anne will be making two visits to the Daventry area next week.
The Princess Royal will be in Daventry on Thursday, February 7, to open a new warehouse for Hankook Tyre UK in Nasmyth Road on the town’s Heartlands business park.
She will be cutting the ribbon in her role as patron of the charity Transaid, which aims to improve the lives and prospects of people in developing countries by improving their local transport links.
HRH Princess Anne is set to arrive at the site at around 12.30 pm.
Tony Lee, managing director of Hankook Tyre UK said: “We are delighted that HRH The Princess Royal, patron of Transaid, has chosen to come to Daventry to commemorate our recent expansion.”
On the same day the princess will visit Brixworth Country Park where she will attend the dedication of a memorial to those who have died in fires across Northamptonshire.
