Possible UFO sighting in Daventry
A DAVENTRY family believe they may have seen UFOs in the skies above the town.
Dee Potgieter arrived home at around 8pm on Sunday (January 25) and as she got of the car, she saw what she describes as a 'strange' light.
Mrs Potgieter, of The Medway on the Grange, said: "We saw this strange light, which was very bright orange, come out of the blue.
"At first I thought it was a firework but when it came across the sky it looked very strange.
"It was travelling faster than plane, but very smoothly and had absolutely no sound.
"Then another one followed, then the third one made an appearance.
"I called for my son to call my neighbours - we were really excited by these strange things flying past.
"Surprisingly a fourth one appeared as well, we didn't know what to make off it.
"As they flew over horizontally they seemed to be going higher and higher up."
Mrs Potgieter was not able to photograph the lights but went on the internet to find similar pictures and found many stories about UFOs.
She added: "I would like to know if anyone else saw it out there and what they made of it.
"I am sure they could've been seen from anywhere in Daventry."
