Plan for Braunston opened up for public comments

A Neighbourhood Development Plan has been prepared by a group from the village with support from the parish council.

The central vision of the plan is to maintain and develop a thriving, working village by encouraging development that meets the needs of local people.

The plan was submitted to Daventry District Council recently and is now subject to a consultation to allow people to make comments on it.

People can view the draft plan for Braunston at www.daventrydc.gov.uk/braunstonneighbourhoodplan or by visiting Braunston Village Stores, in High Street, Braunston. It can also be viewed at DDC’s offices, in Lodge Road, Daventry. The consultation closes at 4.30pm on Friday, 22 April. Comments will be passed to the examiners appointed to inspect the plan.
