The Rev Chloe Willson-Thomas (pictured) will be priest in charge of Brixworth and Holcot.

Rev Willson-Thomas who is currently assistant curate of St Mary’s Church in Knighton, Leicester, will be licensed on April 20. The position will be her first appointment as a vicar. She is married with three children and is also a singing teacher at Northampton School For Girls.

She said: “I think the building at Brixworth is very special.”

Before her calling to the priesthood Chloe was a professional singer and music teacher, the parish has said it looks forward to her utilising these skills to re-energise the church’s choir and music.
