Nether Heyford man dies in car crash

A MAN from Nether Heyford has died following a crash on the A5 on Friday morning.

Nigel Howse, 61, was the driver of a black Maserati Coupe G which was driving along the A5 towards Towcester at 8.35am.

For reasons unknown, he lost control of the vehicle, left the road and collided with a large tree 400 metres north of the junction with Mill Lane at Fosters Booth.

Officers from the Collision Investigation Team are investigating the circumstances of the collision and would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it, or may be able to offer an opinion on the road conditions around the time of the collision.
