Mountain bike stolen from West Glebe Park

A thief swiped a mountain bike as its owner chatted to a pal in a Corby park.

The metallic grey Carrera mountain bike was stolen from West Glebe Park, Corby sometime between 1.45pm and 2.15pm yesterday (Wednesday).

The victim was near the mud hills talking to friends when the offender rode off on the bike, out of the main entrance on Cottingham Road, Corby.

The bike is metallic grey with the words ‘Vengeance’ written on the upper bar of the frame and ‘Carrera’ on the diagonal lower bar. The words are underlined in blue.

The bike frame size is 22” and on the handlebars of the bike was a video recording device, similar to a Go Pro, which was also taken.

The offender is described as white, between 16 – 17 years of age and with a tanned complexion. He is around 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins in height, with a chubby build and short black wavy hair.

He was wearing a black baseball cap, black Adidas top and tracksuit bottoms and black Nike trainers.
