Mobility store seek handyman

DACT shopmobility are on the lookout for a practical volunteer to help with the maintenance of their wheelchairs and scooters.
The role is unpaid but is only required for one day a week in the store in New Street, Daventry.
The volunteer would be required to repair and service wheelchairs and scooters and charge batteries.
Anyone with electrical experience or just a practical mind should apply as training will be given on the job.
Shopmobility co-ordinator, Tina Walker, said: “We are looking for somebody who has got a bit of extra time on their hands and who wants to join a fun and happy team.”
There is no age restriction for applicants as the team have volunteers of a variety of ages.
Shopmobility provides mobility aids to hire or purchase for those with temporary or permanent mobility problems.
