Men trapped after Daventry car crash

TWO men had to be cut free from a car after a crash in Daventry yesterday (Sunday).

The accident happened at around 2.40pm outside the college on Badby Road West.

Two vehicles were involved and two people were trapped and had to be cut free using hydraulic cutting equipment.

A third man was also injured but didn’t need to be released by the firefighters. They were all taken to hospital by ambulance.

Two crews from Daventry attended the crash along with a technical rescue vehicle from Mereway and an emergency tender from Leamington Spa.
