Meeting will discuss health and wellbeing

PEOPLE are being invited to a public meeting later this month to have their say on local health and wellbeing issues.

Daventry District Council is hosting the meeting as an opportunity to find out what people think about local health needs and to help shape local health services.

It’s also an opportunity for people to have their say on the draft Northamptonshire Health and Wellbeing Strategy and the key issues for Daventry district.

Cllr Kay Driver, DDC’s strategic health portfolio holder, said: “Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting but particularly people who are interested in local health and wellbeing issues, such as patients, carers, and local health and wellbeing support groups.”

The meeting is in the Saxon Suite at Daventry Leisure Centre on Thursday, October 25, from 2pm to 4.30pm. As places are limited people are required to book either by emailing lsp@daventrydc.gov.uk or calling Roz Tidman at DDC on 01327 871100.
